Manitou Announces Mastodon Pro LTD Northwoods Edition

The leaves have changed color, your windows are covered in frost, and you cannot seem to remember where you left your window scraper after last winter. Fall is upon us, and in honor of Manitou’s favorite playground, the Northwoods, we are releasing a Limited-Edition Mastodon Pro dubbed “The Northwoods Edition” dressed in blaze orange and camouflage.
The Nothwoods Edition shares the same technology as our standard Mastodon Pro EXT 120mm. This gives you both high-speed and low-speed compression damping adjustments from our trusted MC² damper, low-speed rebound adjustment via our TPC half-cartridge damper, ultimate sensitivity through our Dorado Air Spring, and easy volume adjusting with IVA (incremental Volume Adjuster).
Like all Mastodon forks, the Northwoods Edition delivers all-temperature performance, working equally well in winter and summer. Being the EXT version, this fork will fit tire sizes up to 26x5.15” or 27.5x4.5”. The 34mm chassis makes the Mastodon the stiffest fatbike fork on the market and provides incredibly precise steering and control.

No comments? Doesn't anybody on Pinkbike ride a fatbike during the winter? I just picked up a used RSD Mayor V4 off of Craigslist for $950, (not a scratch on it, previous owner said he only rode it 5 miles!). Looking forward to some snow here in western Pa.

Mastodon is a great fork. I have a comp model set to 140mm. Its just as stiff but a bit less smooth thank my Pike.
