Saturday morning in Maribor greeted racers with cold temperatures, pea soup fog, high winds and on again, off again torrential rain. The downhill course was a swamp, and the 4x course was even worse.

2 dead cameras later, here are some of today's highlights, in photos. In the 4X finals Michal Marosi took the win over reigning WC Champ Jared Graves, while Fionn Griffiths took the women's top spot over Sarsha Huntington for 4X.

What's that around Minnar's feet? Black legs on the Boxxer are pretty sick too. I'm surprised that Carbon V-10 didn't explode from that course, BRUTAL!

It must of been a dangerous course for Sam Hill to be wearing a Leatt. He only wears that when riding moto.
  • 18 5
How do you know he doesn't wear one while he is having a shower? Or walking to the shops?
A bit rich saying he ONLY wears them blah blah blah
  • 2 0
If you new anything about anything you would know Sam has never wore a Leatt at any other race except the Days of dirt where he rode moto.Get that stick out of your ass.

stoked for steve canadian in the top 5
  • 5 1
how come canada doesn't have more top downhillers? you've got like perfect terrain, but brits have few hills, let alone mountains and we've got loads of people up in the top 20.
  • 3 0
Because they are more into riding hard and partying, if you go to a race in Canada they all get pretty wild on Saturday night and then race the next day. They have the skills no doubt.
  • 1 0
Canada has snow for a good bit of the year so it would be hard to ride. Same with a lot of European countries! Britain, Australia and New Zealand etc have riding all year...that's my theory Big Grin
  • 2 0
 Way to go Strobel!

I love that euros find the Leatt brace to be some sort of oddity that has just come to racing on two wheels. Get with the times.
  • 14 3
It was an american dude that said that and euro is a currency not a race Wink
