Looks to me like the new V-10's are running smooth, and Sam Hill's knee injury is being tended to. Aaron Gwin appears to be on a painted version of the prototype Yeti DH Bike as well. Good to see them putting on the testing hours!

Stay tuned at Pinkbike.com for more footage from Maribor 2010!

Great to see everyone ripping a WC track again, absolutely cannot wait. I think Gwinnie's Yeti would have looked better raw but that's just my taste.

Shut up with your moaning over Freecaster. You put down 4 grand on a bike, spend god knows how much on running the thing along with your Sam Hill lookalike TLD kit and it's like "Boo Hoo" I have to lay down $2.00 for live footage of a race on the other side of the world.....

STFU and buy a few less frappucinos....

I don't think so, if you look at this picture you can see weld marks all over the bike (shock mount, rear axle area, etc)

My guess is adjusted geometry and a modified rear linkage. It looks like they moved the upped link around, it's at a flatter angle than the earlier demos. The main change from that would be a more vertical rear axle path, and maybe a slight shock rate adjustment.

its the new smoother DLC coatings
  • 2 0
is it for the 2011 ones ?
  • 3 0
the DLC boxxers use a new coating on stanchions, new blackbox internals, still 35mm, and the same lowers are production modals, think they are under 10 DLC boxxers currently, and only one with red lowers and crowns
  • 1 0
it might look like more travel because the crowns might be set really high
