Ahead of the Megavalanche qualifying on Friday, here is a pro rider's eye view and commentary of the full qualifying course.

Nukeproof riders are Megavalanche qualifying winner and CRC-Mavic ace Kelan Grant, Vanzac’s stunt man Jackson Davis and Wideopen Mag’s Chris Hutchens. There is also a separate eye view from British 4x champion Natasha Bradley in her first race of the Megavalanche.

 I miss the days when the qualification course ended in Oz. Still, I've got to get back someday. 7 years is not enough.

 Not really, where could you overtake on that track? You got stuck behind a line of riders on single track.
Qualy needs to be a little more open

 @yeti-monster: The course changed over the years,but I never found it too difficult to overtake, except maybe 2 or 3km after the big climb.
My first years (2002,2004) it even ended with a grueling 1,5km fireroad climb, not fun on a DH bike.

 Agreed. Qualies have been made easier every year since i started my first mega in 2014.

 Makes me want to ride the Mega again. Then I remember the absolute terror of the piste and think maybe Passports is the event for me!

 Passportes is extremly annoying to anyone who wants to ride the parks in PDS...

 Not done it for a long while, when did the qualifying stop going down to Oz-en-oisans?

 18mins is quick on that course and they were just chillin. Awesome riding above the cloud base
