I get that half the "press releases" on PB are basically just ads, but this could literally be a banner ad and I'd have just as much information. The only substance written here is the price.

That is basically what a press release is. Brands sending some text, pictures and specs of a product they are launching. Sometimes you have to pay for it, if you already spend some cash in advertisement or if your product is particularly innovative or different in a good way they will publish it for free. Press Relations is a whole category of communication on its own, along side with advertisement, sponsoring, and so on. Commenting below and ad to complain that is is barely more informative than an ad is pretty ironical.

"strongly outdoor": they need a better translator for their advertising copy

Why is this the perfect helmet for e-biking? So I cannot buy it (should it ever be in stock) to ride my boring normal bike? (quote from the webpage)

If it doesn't have head up display and in ear pace notes can they really claim it as the perfect helmet for e-biking?

I have had the Roam for 3 years and while it fits me well it has degenerated for my tast exceedingly fast: within 3 months the forehead pad fell off and fell apart, I‘ve lost other padding aswell, the chin strap clip broke and I rest it with a stiched seam, the twirly tightening mechanism started coming apart last year and is now heald together with a cable tie and recently the head band has started popping out of the shell randomly. While I understand that these products will undergo degradation under use I‘ve never experienced it to this extent and at this rate in a helmet. Does anyone have more recent experience with newer MET helmets? While the fit is for me good such experience will motivate me to consider other options.

when will they make visors that are long enough to be practical?

Has anyone in the US found a distributor? I’ve been interested in the Parachute for some time but haven’t found where to purchase one.

I tried to crash warranty a MET helmet last year but couldn't because of this reason. Ended up just throwing the helmet out.

ROTOR USA used to distribute them, think QBP has the line now which should make them easier to find.

"Intensely bright and vivid colours created from microscopic nanostructures."

Did they put that by the wrong photos? The riders in bright colours are right at the bottom in another section

I don’t care too much about the helmets, but would like to know what kind of sunglasses the guy in the blue shirt is wearing? Anyone know?

MET Parachute MCR looks nice. I wonder how it compares to the Leatt Enduro.

They go through color charts like they are picking paint colors for their house. Lol.

Master Chief approves of the olive drab green full face model.

With those played looks their name should be MEH.

They built a wall ride around a tree. Interesting.

Strongly babla. Bladiebla standing out without blabla.

Some of the least informative copy I've read in a long time.

Parachute MCR should have an award for most improved player. Used to be the dorkiest looking helmet out there.

Dude hiking back up with chinbar in his back waistband, looks safe and comfy.
