bigquotes"Filming this video was easily the most fun time I've spent in Virgin, Utah. Having only been to the area for Rampage, and associating it with stress that comes with that, it was nice to really see the place in a more chill setting.

For this video, I really wanted to push myself and showcase my own riding style in this unique terrain. If I have to be honest, I've never really been proud of what I've been able to do out there for Rampage. So to be able to take my time, get familiar with the terrain, and make something that showcases my riding was awesome.

I'm super stoked with what Calvin, Peter and I were able to build and film out there, I can't thank those two enough!!"

 Strange that he was wearing clippless pedals for most of the video yet when there was close-ups of his feet he was on deity Tmac's. You can see the clipless pedals at 1:05... I guess its because Deity dont sell clipless pedals

 Check out 1:41 Pretty clear he's using flats as well. I'm no pro athlete, but would find it challenging to switch back and forth! It would be interesting to know which lines were preferred with/without clips and why.

 Glad someone else noticed. At the start the style of his whips and the way his feet stay locked in with pedals stood out and I thought "Oh sick, rad style even with clips on". Then he dragged a foot on the scrub and I had to go back and watch the whole thing with my face 4 inches from the screen. I bet he stuck on the flatties for that scrub and just ran with it the rest of the shoot. Love little details like that.

Unreal riding and shooting by the team though. Didn't mind watching it twice.

 A big thing that always gets overlooked is the amount of time building the jumps and lines for the video. Loved seeing the square edges and the attention to detail on everything. Very well done

 This edit looks exactly how I envision myself riding. When I clear that 10 foot table (barely) with A VERY slight twist of the bars this is what I think I look like. Mad talent in this video.

 I’ve seen this line in person riding the ‘15 rampage site and it’s pretty incredible to see it ridden. The ridge is steeper than most lines out there and the speeds for those massive gaps is insane.

 i still don't understand the Hyper sponsorship. Totally stoked that they are supporting Bas, but for the life of me i cant figure out why. Who watches Bas' bangers and then buys a Walmart grade bike, which as far as i can tell is all Hyper makes? If you know something I don't, correct the record but on the face of it is seems strange.

 @freestyIAM: dad mom or kid walks into Walmart to buy a bike. Googles hyper bikes and bas comes up sending it. Gives credibility to the brand. Gt/mongoose does the exact same thing but they actually offer the pro models too (which are usually only found in bike shops and not the big retailers). But the bulk of their business is still department store bikes.
