This is what it's all about! Not worrying about the latest gear or the scariest trails just having a laugh with your mates and ending it all off with a few beers too. 4 legends of the British scene unite for the first time on screen as Steve Peat, Rob Warner, Will Longden and Nigel Page all headed to Bike Park Wales for a day on the trails. It's chock full of banter and will probably be the best ten minutes you spend all week.
Please note the following video contains references to performance enhancing drug use, questionable use of the world schralp, childish behaviour and an unbleepable use of the F word… Peaty’s bar tab emptied the marketing budget so we couldn’t afford to bleep all the swearing.—Bike Park Wales
No introductions needed, Steve Peat has officially completed mountain biking! Now enjoying life, riding with mates and drinking beer.
Henley on Thames born and bred, if he’s not sipping expensive champagne at the Henley Royal Regatta you’ll find Rob Warner at the Park getting some practice runs in. Despite entering his 50s and being ridiculously stiff on a bike Rob can still hustle with the best of them!
The silent assassin of the legends, Will Longden lets his riding do the talking. Best known for thrilling the crowd with his creative line choice and pioneering the front wheel schralp.
Not to be confused with the £56 million pound EuroMillions lottery winner. No Wage Nigel Page is a cheeky scouser who spends his days managing the CRC team. Tirelessly working and despite the rumours, never riding his bike!
I still don't understand how Peaty hasn't been made a Lord, OBE, MBE or all of them really...the amount of good he has done for the sport, helping and inspiring young and old kids, the many times he raised the flag...!?
It's the good old Olympic Syndrome. Win a track event at the Olympic Games and you're odds on for an honour.
Win multiple World Cup or World Titles in Mountain biking and not even a sniff of honours. I have often wondered how Rachel Atherton has not receive the same recognition as Laura Kenny or the like.
@WAKIdesigns: Agreed. Hopefully in the future athletes will be recognised for their achievements in competition, and their outstanding contributions to the development of the next generation.
I dont get why at his age he still seems so worried about image and clothes and having fancy shit. I mean we re old , he s the best at commenting the WC no doubt about it but for real he s not 27 like why dress so fancy and be that worried on having the uniforms spot on ?
It deserves to be a series all of its own. Four perfectly complimentary personalities messing around and getting back to what MTBing is all about. The new ‘This is Peaty’.
So good and refreshing to see those bloody ``legendary`` british wankers swearing every 3 words and simply having fun together. Cheers mates!!! I love you all
Fantastic. I am in the same age bracket, even raced Steve Peat a few motos way back in the 90's when he was on GT at a BMX national here in the US on Cruisers (24" wheel bikes). This is what two-wheeled life is about. Shredding trails and busting each other's balls! Ride on gents!
Miss the days when banter was half of what mtb'ing is. Bit too much media training and slowmos....this is what it is all about laughing, riding and getting smoked by that mate who is just on a different level haha!
Feelings are what makes videos interesting and it takes that someone is not acting stiffer than a robot....
Four of my all time favourite riders - hanging out, giving each other shit, getting loose on the bike and having a beer afterwards! This what mountain biking is all about!
Bants were good, BPW isn't what they make it out to be. Peaty nailed BPW when he said about his old view of trail centres. It's the MTB equivalent of Maccy D's only at the Ivy's prices.
Class video, looked like a fun day for sure.
Old guys know how to ride that is defo the case.
I remember being beaten by under a second by Will in 2018 at Glencoe at champs, he had a slide out up top and I had separated my shoulder 3 days before hand and had a broken bike.
Eh... he's just trying to flip everyone shit and be funny. It mainly works, and it makes the pay off when Peaty rides his ass and hazes him for being slow that much funnier.
This what mountain biking is all about!
I didnt realise Rob was 50?!?! ha!
Peaty looking so brutally good on a MTB, still got it!!
Imagine Bruni & Warner in the same pub, it would be F-Bombageddon.
For sure!!
Why did someone down vote your comment..????
can anyone identify peaty's glasses for me?
