Nelson Fat Tire Festival

Nelson's Fat Tire Festival is raring to go and caters to ages from 2 to 92. Bring the family or your rowdy group of friends and participate in this weekend event, August 22-24 in beautiful Nelson BC.

Nelson, BC has a NEW mountain to ride - Morning Mountain! The riding style is new for the Nelson area (mimicking Bend, OR in some locations) with undulating, rolling terrain, that is exciting, and easy to access for riders of all ages and levels. Hit the trail and fly over the gaps, or ride along keeping the tires closer to the ground. Trails are still being developed, and will be for some time with the amount of terrain, but there are heaps there to be explored. Stay for a week or a weekend. Be sure to end the day with a dip in Kootenay Lake - refreshing!
