Kent and Sussex are not exactly famous for their towering mountains and steep hillsides - and rightly so. As anybody from the area will know, finding places to ride is not exactly easy, let alone finding anywhere one can challenge themselves beyond a certain level. I personally find myself an hour and fifteen minutes from the Surrey Hills, an hour and twenty minutes from Rogate, an hour and thirty minutes from Aston Hill, two hours from Woburn Sands, (all assuming I can drive there...which I can't.) 10 Hours from Fort William, about £400 away from Morzine and something in the region of £2000 from Whistler.
So here's me making the most of some of the very best sub-twenty second downhill tracks East Sussex has to offer, and some unbelievable jumps which truly take full advantage of what little hill they're situated on. Filmed by George Barnes (@way2fast4u) with support from Bikegoo (@bikegoo)!
