We at Newground Hard Dutch Latte, a brand of Fundamental Beverages, are launching a new adult beverage in the form of a 5% ABV Nitro Latte (boozy coffee) and will support Neko Mulally, Dakotah Norton, and Max Morgan as they compete in the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup series.

Our company is headed by passionate mountain bikers sharing a backyard with the three riders in western North Carolina, and we are launching the product in the southeast United States this June.

In conjunction with Jack Berg, we will be bringing you a video series that follows the three riders behind the scenes, and gives viewers a look into the life of a World Cup downhill rider away from the races. Neko, Dak, and Max train and ride together at home already, and these videos will give some perspective into the training that goes into racing at the top level, as well as the downtime antics.

Phil Rooney - Newground CEO "We're extremely excited to be able to support these three as they lay it on the line this year. It's been amazing to personally watch the dedication, effort and calculated risk that goes into their craft, as well as the incredible combination of skill and commitment it takes to do what they do. Also, no shame here, give our product a shot, it's dangerously good, and the more we sell, the more riders we can pay, media projects we can do, and ride breaks we can take"

Newground is a 5% ABV Hard Dutch Latte; A perfectly blended hard latte made in Holland with real coffee and Dutch cream. Made to EU standards (Non-GMO) with Natural Flavors and No B.S. Newground is launching with Café Latte and Chai Latte flavors, with Mocha and Salted Caramel being introduced in the spring of 2020.

Our product will be available in June in the southeastern United States, from Virginia and the Carolinas, down to Florida, including Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. Expect it up the East Coast in the fall, West Coast next spring, and in select EU countries in 2020.

Neko Mulally "It's awesome to see a company from outside of the cycling industry invest money into the sport, and it makes for a great fit that the three of us live and train in the Southeast where the the product will be launched. Newground offers a high-quality product, and the best way to support the athletes you like, is to use products from the companies who support them. Give Newground a try!"

Dakotah Norton "Having Newground as a part of my program this year has already played a big part in my preseason preparation. It's really beneficial to have the opportunity to expand my athlete awareness through Newground's commitment to funding media projects and also motivates me to execute at every event with the performance bonus structure we have in place. I couldn't be more excited to get the ball rolling this year."

Max Morgan “I’m not only excited to partner with a company like Newground, a brand that is passionate about mountain biking and supporting its local athletes, but also having someone like Phil in my corner as a mentor is an added bonus. Riding with my buddies Neko and Dakotah is always a good time and I’m excited for what is to come.”
