Cool to see Fezzari making bigger steps into racing and supporting top tier athletes! Seems like he is getting along with the bike well

Great to see Fezzari expand support for racers while other brands are doing the opposite.

Now they just need to quiet that thing down so it doesn’t sound like a shopping cart going down the hill.

I just asked a similar question before I saw your comment. What is all that noise.

The tube-in-tube cable routing makes the La Sal 2.0 super dialed and quiet! I love how quiet mine is!

The La Sal is a noticeably quiet bike thanks to the tube-in-tube cable management... Probably the quietest bike I've ever owned. I wonder if it was the mic itself that was rattling up against the frame or something.

Turns out all that noise is just Nik's nutsack slapping against his inner thigh.

Something something tube in tube. Sounds like the marketing team at Fez is in full swing.

@broscience: haha a little detective work would confirm that. Only commenting on Fezzari articles and only positive. C'mon chaps, you can be more sneaky than that! Wink

Bike is actually super quiet, I mounted a mic near the bottle cage to try to get consistent sound which made the bike sound much louder than it actually is. Also my first project with a new camera and mic setup so probably something I can dial in more. Everyone saying the bike is quiet is right, i’ve ridden it.

@jezzah: C'mon chap, you're not a great detective. I'm not on the Fezzari marketing team. I maybe once was at some time... but just a stoked Fezzari Rider.

Bikes have potential, athletes have skills. The rest of us are hoping to be the first one with the right PB comment.

EDR racing ought to suit Nestoroff more than EWS, with the new single-day format. I suspect the new format will be advantageous to the guys who can push that little bit harder, reducing the focus on consistency since there will be certainly fewer stages/fewer miles of racing. He has a solid background in DH racing, I suspect that will help.

That dude looks a lot like Dakotah Norton.

Any idea where the trail around 1:45 is? Looks pretty incredible

well there goes the joke about how Nik races a bike no other human has seen out on a trail!

Historically Fezzari has had to do things like speed up their videos to make them look good but this guy looks like he may actually be competent.

But oh my goodness the fact that it says "New Beginning's" hurts my soul.

Nik is a beast! Stoked to see what he can do this season. Good bunch of dudes at Fezzari!

So is Kailey going to join him now, as she is still signed to KHS. Nik brought her aboard there so does that mean the same will happen here?
  • 2 0
Awesome addition to the Fezzari lineup! Can’t wait to see him in action

Love to see it! Seems like a great fit for both sides

Any rider that is going to use APTBS in their edit is okay by me.

Nick is an absolute shredder and a great human being as well. Stoked to see this.

is it just me or is that bike really loud? What is the clicking noise?
  • 7 2
It's got to be how they mounted the mic to the bike or some random aftermarket part that isn't fitting quite perfectly. The La Sal is a super quiet bike. Strange that this video didn't depict that perfectly.

Sounds like cables slapping each other to me.. Easily fixable/preventable. My LaSal is the Quietest bike I have owned
  • 2 0
@powfoka: same experience with my La Sal Peak here. I was wondering what the noise in the video was as well.
  • 2 2
 You deserve better, Nik.

Man this guy can’t catch a break
