North Vancouver BC - Part 3

The first thing I did when I moved to BC, was visit Seylynn skate park. The second thing I did was go get some band-aids.

Apart from the mecca that is the three mountains known as "The Shore", North Vancouver is also home to four solid skateparks, and a couple of sick dirt jump zones.

Part three inside,
Seylynn skate park...a great place to get hammered and ride bikes. Or maybe it'd be better to do it the other way around.

Jay Hoots, checking for broken glass in the landing zone.

Dylan Korba, just getting warmed up.

You can take the mountain out of the bike, but you can't take the BMX out of Dylan Korba.
Backflip to flat asphalt, like five times. All he needs to do is lose the helmet, and he's back in
the BMX biz.

Thanks for taking me to the other side Dylan and Jay. Think I'll stick to the trails...they're softer.

On any given day, there will be rain, sun, cloud, wind, snow, rain and more rain. Yawn, so predictable.

Soon, if Cypress ever loses all that snow they had this winter, it will open up Vancouver's first and only mountain bike park. Whistler's so stoked on this.

seylynn skate bowl is the oldest skate bowl in Canada. It's actively maintained by the users and also by parks. There's a lot of community buy-in. North Van is a great place to live and the pictures show it

Trail isn't finished. Please don't ride it. We did a photo shoot on an incomplete trail and had utmost respect for the builder's work in progress. Thanks to Rob for his wonderful work on this line! It will be amazing when finished!
