Round 3 of the PMBA Enduro series doubled as the Northern Championships and the only 2-day event of the series. A 5 hour, 23 mile loop with 5 varied stages and transitions over moorland, sheep tracks, footpaths, bridleways & public roads awaited over 300 entrants to decide the champions. The stages would be short and massively gravity fuelled, while the moorland transitions would test the fitness. The feedback from the competitors was great, all loving the unique feel and fun stages, so many smiles makes the efforts of running the event worthwhile.

Big thanks to Lancashire County Council, RBC (Bacup Council), Fairfield Stone, AG Aggregates, United Utilities, Lord of the Manor of Rochdale, UPM Tillhill, Dirt Trax Limited and several farmers for use of the land and making this event possible. Congratulations to our new Northern England Enduro Champions, Cal Dew and Bex Baraona! Next stop Kirroughtree on 5th July

Well done Kev, great race! Stage 3 was the hardest in Facet woods, those hip jumps and the rockery push and run! Thanks also to Mike for organising and Doug and Adam for the Heckling on Stage 4 at Cockhill, happy days! Tom

Great to see a race local to getting some attention on PB. Would love to know exactly where the 'Ride on Rollercoaster' is if anyone could help me...

Is it possible to ride the full route on a normal day? I've been to Lee Quarry quite a few times and would love to add more to the route. I'll check out some segements on Strava.

Hi, No most of the loop is not available to ride normally, it goes over private land and even uses some footpaths we have special permission for.
