Take a seat in the NS Bikes Factory Racing team-bus and enjoy webisode 1.
It's been a quite an eventful winter for the team. From building a completely new team to signing new riders and testing, all has been done during this winter.
The new riders
Slawek Lukasik and
Carina Cappellari had the chance to meet everybody at the first training-camp at Mortil in Spain.

Carina Cappellari our new girl on the team.
Together with their new teammates
Noel Niederberger,
Lutz Weber and
Moritz Ribarich they were ready to tackle the first few days together. The main goal, during the "Spanish week", was to test all the available suspension options from our partner Fast Suspension. It was an eventful week and the team was able to fine-tune their NS Fuzz Bikes to suit each riding style.
Noel and Lutz heading for another run in Spain.
Spain is just the place to be during European wintertime.
After that, the riders had a few weeks at home to train and put in the final hours in the gym. Then it was already time for the last training camp ahead of the first World Cup in Lourdes. The team headed to southern Austria. The mountain
Schöckl near Graz hosted perfect conditions to fine tune the bikes one last time before they would be put to the test in Lourdes.

Slawek's fresh machine ready for another run.
And there it was, first round of the World Cupwas here. Confident and full of motivation, the team tackled the weekend ahead. The track was in perfect condition and a worthy stop on the World Cup calendar.
Lutz pinning it during the first practice session.
Sadly
Lutz suffered from crash in practice and puncture during his qualification run and would not make the finals. Also
Noel had a few problems and was not able to make the big show on Sunday. 81st was a hard pill to swallow for the talented swiss rider. All the others had a save run that ensured their participation in the finals.
Always a good guy to have around, Lutz is just a fun character.
Sunday = Funday they say and so it was. With
Moritz having a stellar run, achieving a
4th place in the junior men category and missing the podium only by the tightest of margins
0.002s, he ensured his new career-best result. Also
Carina had a solid run into 11th place, getting some confidence for the next few races ahead. Then it was
Slawek's turn. He managed to improve on his qualification and put down a smooth and fast run. Combined with a bit of weather-luck, he finished in a career best 21st place. Happy day's for the team in France!
Nr. 55 going 21st in the finals.
A happy Slawek is a fast Slawek.
Slawek on his way to the finish line.
Big thanks to all of our partners for making it happen!
