Speaking about joining the Nukeproof Junior team Christopher, also known as ‘Kipper’ told us: “I'm really excited about riding for Nukeproof, all the products are amazing and I do feel the support will help me go on to achieve the goals I have set for this year. It’s my first year as a Junior so I will be competing in a few World Cups, so obviously my main goal will be to try and qualify at the World Cups and to defend my National Junior title."
Dan Sheridan
Dan who hails from Dublin, Ireland, started racing in 2007 and has won the 2008 and 2010 Irish National Championships in his respective categories. Speaking about his goals for 2011 Dan said: "2011 will be my first season racing in the Junior category so it’s great to have Nukeproof supporting me.
“It’s a big step up but for me but my goals are to win the 2011 Irish Championships, top 5 overall in the Halo BDS and qualify at the World Cups I attend. I want to gain as much racing experience as possible."
Dan is excited at being selected as one of the few people sponsored with a Nukeproof complete build. "Its amazing to be riding for Nukeproof, I’ve always loved the bike after seeing it in its early stages in the Irish series, so it’s great to be getting my own! I have everything I need to get the job done so I just need to focus on riding and training."
Other Nukeproof Junior team sponsors include Nema, Eight.ie, SixSixOne, FiveTen, Schwalbe, Mulebar, Gamut and OC Tuning.
In fairness lads a video doesn't show how a person can race, both national champs, Dan came 3rd overall in Britain and Chris is the European champ, but I suppose yous are all way faster or Nukeproof have picked the wrong riders they should have picked devincifrantik1ride because he would have made the team.. wise up some people.
im sure they are a lot faster than I will ever be but that edit did nothing for them. looked like a practice day with a film thrown in somewhere. good on the lads to get such serious sponsors at such a young age.
Keep in mind this was our first ride on the new bike. We went straight into filming as we were stuck for time. Both of us hadnt ridden a DH bike much over the winter so we were just getting back into it!
yeah I sort of agree with laurencethorpe, BUT from what we all know you guys are really quick in races which made you champions, so no need to worry about your speed. I advise next time pick rougher course but you probably know it already. Damn I envy how much easier it is to get to a pro level in UK rather then in Poland (poland??? where is it? haha)
