We've built a dream enduro mountain bike, fit for taking on the Megavalanche. Check out the first episode of our Dream Bike Build, where we chat about the evolution of the much-loved Nukeproof Mega.
The one that started it all, the Mark I Nukeproof Mega.
The evolution - 2017 Nukeproof Mega.
If money was no object, which frame (doesn't have to be a Nukeproof...) would you choose if you were building your dream bike?
If money was no object. Evil wreckoning, ohlins front and rear, sram eagle and hope wheels/finishing kit. If you want to build me one for free, then that would be lovely????
Mega 290 owner. Absolute beauty of a bike .fast well balanced and eats trails like a dh bike .
Big downside .build quality is poor .
The pivot bolts are fussed together something hotlines have sorted for me but the bearings are really poor quality and flanged .
got my money back as I was within 30 days buy still miss how it performed.
I do enjoy my XL Mega TR 27.5. Running 26" wheels (I wanted the long back end), -2 angleset, 170mm Lyrik R2CDH and a set of 165mm cranks. Low, Long and fast bike. Not the best climbing bike due to pedal kick back but is a blast on the descents. Great fun around normal trails.
If I had to choose one frame without cost being an issue it would definitely be a Geometron 29/27.5+. As for the Mega 290 I had it in my basket as a frame option but i simply couldn't justify the cost. Sorry.

Not sure, but I may seriously considering a Process 167.
