Dry Hill trails are the point of reference for what amazing DH trails should be. The best.

They have enduro races on the same trails if that gives you a comparison. They are fun though

It's actually a pretty legit course. Very high speed up top, techy rock garden and drops in the woods. Yes you can ride an "enduro" bike on the trail but most people will be alot faster and better off on a full dh rig here. That being said Strobel won on a long travel 29er evil. That it's fun but don't assume it's world cup worthy dh was my point. Trust me, I love those trails, season ticket holder! And I took 2nd in my first race ( last stage was cannonball) on a 29er. I'm no strobel but I'll take 2nd for my first time

I get what you're saying. Strobel won the nw cup dh race on a 29er. Not the enduro race. Which if I did a run (top to bottom) on my Patrol and a run on my 450 I guarantee I would be faster on my 450. Just speaking from my own experience and riding skill.
