Just wait my boy Kent is coming in hot and will be giving Luke a run for his money as the season progresses. Great job to all who participated though everyone out there deserves a high five for givin it the onion and trying the best they can.

Awesome to see Luke smashing it... It's also crazy to see the time separation from his best times when the big boys come into town in the last couple of races... Lastly, no one clowns him that he is on a 29er because his performances are speaking for itself.

don't really mean this negatively, but I realize it's a fine line: the NW Cup is definitely a worthy venue, but there's a big fish/small pond thing with him (which is always apparent when the big boys are in town). Regardless of what equipment he promotes, his riding is not human and seeing him pump and float so fast and smooth down these tracks is unreal. But I'm noticing I don't seem to cheer for him the same as when he was representing the PNW at the world cups.

@esstinkay: Yes, that is what i meant when I mentioned the big boys race times. They really show the separation between a World cup riders speed vs one of the best non world cup riders. Yes, Evil should get him into the World cups but he would have to train seriously for that jump in competition...
