Rain during practice had folks thinking it would be a mud race - but the sun came out and the top qualifier, Luke Strobel, defended his #1 qualifying position. Magnus Manson who is racing pro at the NWCups, took second, only .29 off of Luke. Weston Potter was just .22 off of Magnus ending up in 3rd!

We'll see you next for the ProGRT here at Port Angeles for the NWCup Round 2.
Personally, this is the funnest biking event around. Anyone that has ever considered joining one of the NW cup races should definitely try it out. Its such a fun time and the venues are always kick ass. Throw in the occasional World Cup riders at the GRT in Port Angeles and how could you not want to come out and participate. Get some buddies and do it,you won't be sorry. If you want to break into it nice and slow, just do Cat 3. If you think you're fast,do Cat 2.
