only one question. where is the soul of freeridin' nwd7 was crap. only bmx shit, same tricks again and again. thats not my definition of freeridin'. or can you find yourself in a single scene? westlund can suck his m*ther dry

NWD is going downhill as a movie series. They used to be awesome with madd hucks and true "mountain" riding. Now they are all people hitting dirtjumps on mountainbikes, and looking sketchy as hell when they pull a 3-whip. I could watch bmxers pull way better shit. Im not saying get rid of the tricks, just get rid of straight dirtjumps. incorporate the moves into big drops and stunts bmxers CANT do and separate MTB from BMX. Also, put more hucks and DH into the movies.

 I havn't seen any BMX'ers do backflips/360's off cliffs, have you? o_0

I'll give Freeride Entertainment their due, they took the torch from the Kranked series and have ran with it and showed off their own style. Their production is top notch, they have the budget to show off destinations in the world like no other bike film company, and know the hype game better than Don King. NWD 7 was average, it seemed like a dirt jump movie. I'd like them to start a fresh idea from the New World Disorder franchise, they're big enough, why not do two movies a year? Just a thought, but the last movie I really loved was Disorderly Conduct.

what the hell has freeridin´to do with wrestling? ok: nice tricks, nice locations... but the starting and middle sequences are always complete bullshit. just remember the scenes in hell in nwd7. like a bad b-movie from the eighties... silly kindergarten stuff. it just f*cks up the complete movies.

wtf is wrong wiht u haters, NWD is wicked they are just gettin better each year, and for those who say its all dirt jump and flips and whips, ya so what that is sick shit its what everyone wants and if u dont if u want downhill watch a downhill movie. and if u like street watch a street vid its that simple so quit your bitching and shut up. nwd is just making movies for wats more popular and obviously the best hahahah jk its all preference.

the sorts of people who dont like the nwd films are ignorant c*nts, the sort of riders who think mtbing only stands for riding big suspension bikes round lame tracks in some shit woods.
'mountain riding' quite frankly is getting bland, theres little progression and hucking off cliffs pulling silly tweaks is just lame old skool crap.
its not a thing like bmx. its taking tricks to natural obstacles and riding mtbs in any environment. and to all those people who are stuck in the mindset that mtbing should be about mountains and the people who want more dh and cliff jumps, they can go die. there are so many repetative dh/fr style films out. thats why so many people like nwd, and why its the best dvd series by far-because its at the forefront of mtb progression and isnt the same old crap

Somebody give this boy a soda pop. Wink

no instead its backflip after backflip after backflip variation.. id rather watch half that and have dh..

C'mon... wouldn't you rather see big tricks, big transfers, style...Andreu, Claw, CMC, Paul Bas, these guys are gettin better all the time and that side of the sport continues to grow. I mean, is there 35000 people lining the A-line course just to watch Jared Graves go by? No... but there is that many people at the bottom of the boneyard watching Boyko 360 the Gapitron to take 1st place from Lacondeguy. Slopestyle is the only aspect of this sport that appeals to the general public and if that makes no sense to you the go dryhump Sam Hill's leg...

If you like DH racing, then get "Between the Tape" If you like seeing the new tricks(Andreu's superman backflips and super slick flipwhips) the get NWD8. All the racer types seem to have a problem seeing this but to me it's obvious, racing is dry and repetitive to me so I won't watch it, end of story... if you don't like "backflip after backflip anfter backflip" don't watch it...
