Worth It is a documentary series produced by
Leo Gamboc and
Jonas Drechsler. From May this year, we have been on the road, traveling and living in our van to find the best, and the most secret trails in Europe. We started our trip in Italy, traveled through Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, UK, and last week we spent in Paris.
It was crazy. Good kind of crazy, though!
We arrived on Thursday night after leaving London in the morning. The idea for this episode was to go to Belgium to attend the MX trails Jam. Unfortunately, the trails (maybe the biggest in Europe) were wet. Option B) was driving down to the south of Germany, but the weather forecast there was terrible also.
Option C) was Paris, where we didn't find dry trails, but we found Tom Kilcoyne - a mtb street rider. Wanna find out what happened next? Watch
#worthit E18. I'm overwhelmed on how good this one turned out, and it was filmed just in one day.
ParisLeo flairing the Map Monde.Jonas, Leo and Tom mid session.Next day we went to Cheptainville to meet Simon Perdrix in person. A contest/jam was supposed to take place at his spot called - "Cheptain dirt camp", but it was cancelled a day before because of the bad forecast. On Saturday morning we expected rain only after 3 p.m. We drove from Paris to Cheptainville, and for 3 full hours we enjoyed dry sandy jumps and got a chance to see Simon and his friends shred. Worth it!
