That's also why the Surly Big Fat Dummy isn't a fat tired bike this year... global supply shortages have led them to make the expedition fat bike into a 29er plus tire bike... because not enough people ever wanted 29 x 3.0 tires, there's available parts in the supply chain of them for brands with fat touring bikes to make use of their tires and rims.

Took Magped up on their offer of "Try them, if your not satisfied get 100% back".
Got the 200N magnets which have what feels like 5lb of hold, you literally cannot use the upstroke for pedalling...
Plus add the fact the magnet is at the back of the pedal, you need to ride on your toes.
Can confirm, their promise of 100% back if not satisfied is something they stand by.

Unsolicited promotion: if anyone reading this has any kiddos, BUY THE SHOTGUN. I got one when my daughter turned 2 and we've ridden well over 100 miles of primarily single track here in Santa Cruz in the last 8 months we've had it. It's seriously my favorite bike purchase I've ever made.
