It’s funny because I have zero dollars
  • 45 0
Can I laugh with you, please?
  • 21 0
hahahaha I wish I could prop this more...in the same exact boat.
  • 23 2
 Canadian or US Dollars?
  • 4 3
Who is the tall azz mofo riding that first Santa Cruz?!
  • 16 0
Me too because I'm German! HAHAHA. JK. I'm broke too ~_~
  • 3 1
@wowbagger: Most of these are in USD/GBP. The only one that is in CAD is TBS Bike Parts located in good ol' Canada!
  • 2 0
 Hey there ian
  • 2 0
I'll pitch in zero too brother.
  • 3 1
zero is better than -10 000. you are rich compared to me.
  • 3 0
 Joining the hobo train....
  • 5 1
You should invest that zero dollars now. So when you’re an old man you have nothing to show for it.
  • 2 2
 @wowbagger: 0 CAD = 0 USD, no?
  • 6 0
 @noisette: no 0 usd is 100 cad
  • 2 0
 @CSharp: and sombrio
  • 1 0
@Dadd: Sombrio have some really great prices on their CA sub-domain website and prices are strictly for Canadian addresses. Pretty awesome deals. Smile Great quality garments too!
  • 2 0
Should I spend all of next month's money on that Marzocchi 380 to put on my hardtail? Lol...........serious question though, otherwise I'll probably spend it on alcohol.
  • 2 0
It is a pretty sweet deal.......
  • 2 0
@Kramz: I would have bough that fork right away, have I had a FS to throw it on.
  • 1 0
I have money but I have to sell my bike
  • 62 1
Can't believe how rubbish crc is these days
  • 4 0
 yup...
  • 4 1
 That cube is ridiculously cheap!
  • 13 0
That is because crc is no longer, they closed their ballyclare main shop, CRC is now WIGGLE... all those cheap deals now gone for good
  • 4 0
After dealing with the biggest hassle of a warranty return through them, I’d never shop there again anyway.
  • 1 0
@MTBireland1979: Right! I totally forgot about the wiggle thing... that explains it.
  • 4 3
@MTBireland1979: Some of us our still here, don't write the place off completely.
  • 3 0
110 bucks for the brand x dropper is a great deal I just bought two last month and couldn't be happier they are a solid post and been flawless on a dozen two+ hour trail rides in this mucky fall weather.
  • 1 0
@andnyleswillriot: I am right there with you. Took 4+ months and 20+ emails for a frame warranty.
  • 1 0
@mhoshal: that is a great deal, but that's not what you'll end up paying after all the BS customs fee's
  • 1 0
@arrowheadrush: just don't get the tracked shipping and you won't pay any fees
  • 1 0
@src248: tracked shipment is additional on top of customs fees. You will always pay customs fee's from CRC, it has nothing to do with tracking.
  • 1 0
@arrowheadrush: they didn't even hit me with customs charges so I guess I lucked out
  • 1 0
@arrowheadrush: except you don't. If you're eligible for free shipping you can choose tracked or untracked shipping, tracked will always have fees at pickup but untracked won't (unless you're buying a frame or something)
  • 1 0
@src248: as i said before, customs fee's have nothing to do with tracked or untracked shipping. I've ordered many things in the past from CRC, i've never selected tracking, and i've ALWAYS had to pay customs fee's. every single time, same as all my riding buddies. That why we all stopped ordering from CRC.

Unless they have recently changed their shipping procedure in the past 10 months, because that was the last time any of us ordered anything from them.
  • 1 0
@arrowheadrush: I've shopped there many times...never had customs charges coming into the US
  • 33 0
 $150 brake, now only $200
  • 5 0
i swear i was looking at those on jenson 20 minutes ago for 199, regular price...
  • 7 0
@sosburn: that's why they always compare to the RRP, not the "what we sold it for last week" P
  • 1 0
The TRP Quadiem G-Spec is sold via the TRP website, without shipping, for $199usd. CRC(wiggles) raised the cost to the customer to $272usd, and then put them on sale for $10 less than the $199 MSRP.

With advertisements like these, it's no wonder I stopped shopping CRC.

From now on, when I order out of country, it's TBS and Toronto Cycles of Canada.

To sum up, black Fridays are BS in the bicycle world.
  • 4 0
I'm happy with the deals I got from sombrio.
  • 2 0
 @Jokesterwild:
Yeah I'm grabbing some stash bibs and a fleece too
  • 2 2
 They forgot about YT
  • 1 0
@Jokesterwild: I can't add the bibs to my cart; the webstore is down or something
  • 30 3
commencal thank you ! Prices are the SAME that been already on webpage for long time, just put it all into black friday section. Pathetic.
  • 10 2
 Same for YT...
  • 10 2
Yep, checked the commencal website first thing this morn after their dramatic "BLACK FRIDAY COUNTDOWN"...........same prices as usual. What a load of rubbish
  • 6 1
 @eugen-fried:

The US YT site has Capra CF for $1,000 off.... sick deal
  • 3 0
Checked before and after the sale started, several Meta AM V4.2s dropped $500
  • 3 1
@wtmorgan1: Except they are all sold out
  • 2 0
@kobld: I just got a Capra CF today for $2,999.99 from their site. I wanted black/black which they had last night. I had it ready to checkout too. Glad I waited, I saved another $500 but had to go with yellow but I can't be mad at that.
  • 1 1
@kobld: They were sold out in the beginning of November. But CF one in red is good enough for me anyway, I just wouldn't mind another 200 EUR discount (I know that the price is good, but I won't ride this bike until March, so I'm not sure whether to try save some money or get a newer model with a boost).
  • 1 0
@geeKayy: I think if you keep it in your cart, you "reserve" it or something? Is that right?
  • 1 0
@kobld: I have an order number for mine. They said it would be 2-3 business days until a payment email would be sent. Waiting on that.
  • 1 0
@geeKayy: BTW they dropped price massively AFTER black friday. They're now like a grand cheaper... and the out of stock thing was just a ploy. All the 2017's are in stock again after being sold out during black friday
  • 1 0
@kobld: I did see that. Still happy with mine. It shipped and I received it within like a week of ordering.
  • 1 0
 @kobld: I paid $2,999.99 for mine.
  • 1 0
 @geeKayy: On which bike?
  • 1 0
@kobld: Capra CF Yellow/Black size Medium.
  • 19 0
The only real deal there is the Marzocchi fork!
  • 15 0
 The beer glasses!
  • 1 0
 @karoliusz: yeah man! Agreed! \m/
  • 1 0
Wat? The Troy Lee Knee pads?
  • 1 0
Jenson also sell a Marzocchi DJ1 for 139$
  • 1 1
@kobld: rather than a deal, I'd say they're a rip off at rrp
  • 1 0
 @ismasan: Are they crappy? Crap. I hope I didn't waste 20 bucks
  • 1 0
@kobld: not after they want $30 for shipping
  • 1 0
 @kobld: I mean they're a rip off for the $85 MSRP.
For 20 bucks, no problem
  • 12 0
I'm waiting for @dentist to chime in. Haven't heard from him since they reviewed 6 long travel 29rs that were definitely not on sale.
  • 5 0
Dentist's don't need to wait on Black Friday. Dentists buy full RRP.
  • 5 0
 he got banned Frown
  • 14 1
Eh, these aren't very Intense deals - only one is.
  • 13 0
5$ off a kenda nevegal is not a deal
  • 49 1
100% off a nevegal is still no deal
  • 17 0
 @ridintrials:
Except when it is 100% off of your bike
  • 1 1
@ridintrials: TRUTH. I have a Nevegnal 29 2.2 with maybe 4 rides on it that I would gladly sell for the cost of shipping. Any takers?
  • 1 0
@tkrug: there is nothing wrong with nevegals when used in the right riding conditions I doubt Tomac would put his name on them if they were crap!! They've been on my dh bike for 3 seasons with no issues.
  • 1 0
@mhoshal: The DH stickies work wonders on Loam and loose rock. All the other Nevgals are crap!
  • 9 1
I see no deals here, its back to the buy and sell section on PinkBike for me.
  • 7 0
Load of shite , chain reaction and winstanleys used to be by far the cheapest anywhere online, glad I'm too poor to buy anything anyways haha
  • 7 1
My local bike shop has 15% off everything, soo tempted to pre order a process 153 carbon and let future me figure out how to pay for it.
  • 3 1
do it! I just got one and it's amazing!
  • 6 1
A CR450F is becoming a much better investment than a bicycle these days. It's a shame for the future generations, they're being priced right out of the sport.
  • 1 0
yup, I'm even shopping for one.
  • 2 0
@JumpinJesus: I haven't been able to afford riding for a few years now Frown still read pink bike though
  • 1 0
 True that
  • 5 0
LOL. These deals are pathetic... in short, it's just another small discount sale. Check.
  • 5 0
That DT Swiss hub is showing Sold Out in the UK - but funnily enough, you can still buy it at a greatly increased rate...
  • 2 0
Recently rode a set of Nevegals that I had, took them off after the ride....and remembered why I only stick to top brands for tires. IMO the tire is of poor quality/construction. Spend the extra bucks on good brand tires. It's worth it when it comes to tires.
  • 2 0
I have no idea why the still sell that tire. I was shyte in 2004, and certainly hasn't gotten any better.
  • 2 0
Mountain bike action used to say that every bike that didn’t come with Nevegals should switch to them immediatley lol. Oh good old mba...
  • 1 0
What a load of total toss. Last time I look through "deals" on here. Used to be good but this looks like sponsors/advertisers simply said hey, advertise this stuff, call it deals.

Not deals, standard pricing / Higher price than old price / Sold out / "Deal" for that thing, with that logo, which has that cold clinically executed marketing strategy, which makes people feel warm and fluffy about, and throw money at, the wonderful image of style/freedom/family history/vision or whatever the hell other shit they're manipulated into feeling.

The only thing resembling a deal is the Cube reaction "'cause X1/X01 eagle bits"... but is that sensible DT to spec with the Fulcrum Red 66 wheels and Reba RL? Not really a deal when you can get a lighter Radon Jealous 7.0 with Sid RL, X1700 and a decent headset, you just have to sacrifice the eagle bits for 2x11 full XT, which imo is more appropriate for a carbon 29er HT anyway (1x all the way for FS trail or enduros though)
  • 6 1
Sick deals, Commencal... I could get much better ones at my LBS.
  • 4 0
After taking a deep look at my wallet... i will definitly make a big investment on that beautiful Ibis Pub Glass
  • 3 0
Good job on the 240s hubs pinkbike. You list em as a great sale but they aren't available, and haven't been for a couple weeks.
  • 2 0
Best deal I have seen so far is this from good old Decathlon. Shimano AM5 spd shoes. £29.99 in all sizes. Cant beat that!!
www.decathlon.co.uk/am5-spd-mountain-bike-cycling-shoes-id_8393749.html
  • 3 0
I don't think this is going to set off a spending 'Chain reaction' on their website!
  • 1 0
I did my Black Friday shopping on CRCs first week. A pair of Dhb waterproof winter gloves and a muck off cleaning kit. Perfect for the U.K. winter. I’ll be waiting until the January sales to try and find some boost wheels.
  • 4 0
I have seen far better deals on SCs. E.G. bike-components...
  • 3 0
Fox shock link gives me a vastly different price when I click on the link..like $200+ difference..
  • 4 0
These deals are bullshit. You probably only get that deal on odd lengths that nobody wants
  • 1 0
There is also the Brand-X Ascend II with external routing (I need one for a frame) at the same price:

www.chainreactioncycles.com/be/fr/tige-de-selle-brand-x-ascend-ii-dropper/rp-prod159176
  • 2 1
If mom and dad are paying for it OR you are a dentist , nothing wrong with it if you happen to be a dentist, crazy prices for mtb stuff
  • 4 0
 Yawn
  • 3 0
Not even the Intense and Santa Cruz deals amuses me this time.
  • 3 0
Grey friday at best. $5 off a Kenda tire, huh?
  • 2 0
That hub on chain reaction is a road hub, someone dun fuked up there.
  • 1 0
Yeah, what about the ULTEGRA groupset then?
  • 2 0
A fiver off the kenda nevegal???? Seriously?!
  • 2 0
i wish Pricepoint.com was still around. They had good deals!

American Classic has 30% off today, including Smokin' Gun wheelsets for $399.

amclassic.com/index.php
  • 1 0
That TLD Method Knee guard is only $17.98, but $39.99 is the cheapest to ship it just one state away!
Say what now?
  • 1 0
eh, I just chose pickup in store cause it close
  • 3 0
 nothing great
  • 2 1
The shorty at Dunbar is not even as advertised... but I'm happy I got my ryders fyre glasses.
  • 2 1
Every time I order from them I get a email saying they don't have the item in stock anyway. Every time.
  • 1 0
How is that Commencal bike approx. 500 CAD cheaper in Canada than in Europe, especially since it's a European brand?
  • 2 0
We only pay taxes. Duties with bike stuff are pretty minimal, whereas EU has to pay recycling fees and some other stuff. Also it could simply be Commencal trying harder to capture the Canadian market where they aren't as well established as in Europe.
  • 1 0
Anyone ever worn the Ryder's Pello as riding glasses or are they more for casual wear?
  • 3 1
Take 65% off the Smith Headcrab
  • 3 1
Troy Lee designs protective Oboe £29.99
  • 1 0
USD 162 for a rear DT Swiss 240 MTB hub? Bargain. CRC, how can I get this?
  • 1 0
You can't, because they sold out two weeks ago or more. You could have gotten for closer to $140-150 USD after they CLEAR17 coupon if you saw them when they came out on CRC.
  • 1 0
@Adam Price. Why do you propose this deal today when it was sold out two or more weeks ago?
  • 1 0
I need some new brakes. Looks like no deals to be had here though Frown
  • 1 0
Do you want to sell your old brakes?
  • 1 0
