: You’re on the general track. He’s sitting out until the decision comes down on his penalty, if any. Since he’s sitting out it’s a safe assumption that he and his team are anticipating something, as the strategy of sitting out would back date to time served toward that penalty to the last race he did, so he gets free time for the off season, basically. Still no official decisions though, unless I’m mistaken.
