Tight battles shaping up that will make these last few races all the more interesting to watch. The battles for the 3rd spot are getting just as heated as the battles for 1st and 2nd for both women and men respectively.

Such a shame MVDP is gonna skip the last round in Snowshoe to prepare him self for Worlds on the road...

Could change his mind if he's in the lead or within a few dozen points after next weekend.. Snowshoe may not be his best course, though. I've raced it in the past and it has a few couple incredibly steep fairly long climbs that are better suited for smaller riders. That being said, it also has a 4-7min long rocky, rooty, and technical false flat that I can see a powerhouse like him making a huge gap on.

@cgreaseman: yeah the climbs at snowshoe are steepish but it is still probably the flattest course in the past 5 years of the world cup. He hangs at albstadt and won val di sole/NVNM where the course is literally twice as steep on the main climb

Rissveds will now be able to race in the short track, and hopefully get a good starting position.

she wasn't allowed before? What do you need to race the short track?

@omartrs: Top 40 riders in the overall make the start list for XCC at each event Then the top 24 finishers get a better start spot for the main (XCO) race.

I mean what do you expect... This is just an informational post. Not much to discuss here. Just facts...

Why are the Team Standings from last year?
Or, are they this years numbers with last years race schedule above them?
