For our second Là-bas trip we decided to climb a little to Annecy, and check the playground of our friends and locals riders living around the lake, but also meet the guys of Only Whats Necessary in their studio. Some hours of driving from the French Riviera, and here we are, Annecy just appeared, it's now time to learn to ride on roots, steep and slippery trails.

 I've been to Annecy a few times - I always make sure to stop there on my way down to Morzine/Les Gets. One of the best mornings of my life was this summer when me and my friend got up at first light and pushed up one of the famous tracks in Annecy. It was a huge push and ride up. When we got to the top, we had a quick sip of water, a high 5 and then put our goggles on and bombed it back down. By 10:30am we were in a Brasserie by the lake drinking coffee and eating fresh made French baked goods. Mint place.

 Annecy is one of the most beautiful places I´ve ever been. I even rode a road bike around the lake (first road bike experience in my life) haha... and it´s the home-town of some big brands like Salomon and Mavic

 Went camping with the family through Annecy this late August. Was ready to do some of those shuttles on a rented bike on Day 2. But Day 1 I broke my hand in the skatepark, skating with my son. Day 2 was a hospital day. Frown

 Hey @conoat the first trail on the video is pretty steep and slippery actually, the second part is more enduro trail. Pinkbike choose to rename the blog entry, our title was "Chilling in Annecy", had some ride, some fun, some cool time there. Be kind don't blame me for something I didn't decide Wink
