Good idea for a show. Give you a perspective on trail building, scoping lines and the detail involved. It would show a whole other side to mountain biking.

My job sucks, i'd love to be doing what these guys are doing, out in the woods looking for lines to build. You guys have the life, can you hire me to help as well? My dream is to live out there. Can't wait for the next episode !

Prepare your wallet.

man thats ridiculous... i'd rather just hike with the tools hahaha. 245 for a shovel DAMN!!!
  • + 2
The tools look amazing and by all accounts are sturdy and up to being abused. Though I know for myself I use a quiver of tools and flip through them quickly. That means either having 3 or 4 trail boss set ups, or just humping in and then stashing a shovel, rogue hoe, shovel pick, and a couple rakes...I've always just done the latter Smile

 damm thats really expensive

for most people this tool is far to expensive ,I personally was interested in it at first but after some thought decided to stick with the tools ive been using for years as they have seen me right and didn't cost more than £50 collectively.

all we have here are 200 foot hills with the most annoying dirt on earth, super stubborn brush and shrubs and large amounts of LARGE rocks. some rocks and rock beds are nice features, but man i dream of having the chance to ride in woods like those.

Yea but you can ride year round and there is awesome riding within a short drive...BC is the place to be for about 6months out of the year but you better break out the skis the rest of the year

Unless you live in Squamish or Vancouver or Victoria or the Sunshine Coast, or Cumberland or on Hornby.... I could go on, but you're probably getting the point. I ride 12 months a year, and ski for 6.

18 months in canada!!! dude hahaha jk.

I hear ya..spent allot of time riding in BC..love it..but my point was the kid living in san diego could be allot worse off..where I live is perfect..year round riding and awesome big descents..BC dirt would be nice though..but if you can go fast on loose over hard you can go fast on anything
  • + 1
Im also not a huge fan of riding in the wet either...around here when it rains its perfect a few hrs later but it doesn't get sloppy like some places..its also 75deg all winter
  • + 2
hahaha, so i've been told, i heard that if you can be fast in the blown out shitty dusty anti traction material we call dirt then you can beast mode on almost any type of dirt. yeah, perfect 68 degrees right now and i'm getting my ride on in an hour.

Looks like this could be quite an interesting series, hopefully garner a few tips along the way. Bit surprised they don't carry ramps for the quad bike and just launched it off the back of the pick-up into the snow!

Looking forward to the next episode.

I have been waiting for trail building videos like this to emerge for ages. So much potential to showcase the lesser known (awesome) side of mountain biking. So stoked man!!!
