 | Riding up here in Alaska, you have to really kind of push the envelope and push the boundaries of what you're willing to hike up to.—Peter Ostroski |
The terrain in Alaska is stunning. Rocky Mountain athlete Peter Ostroski is a local from the small town of Girdwood, AK, and has an amazing network of trails right outside his door. While the Chugach Mountains are more famously known in the ski world, it looks pretty epic up there in the summertime!

I've got a great deal of respect for what Peter is doing although I don't know him personally. I hope he has great success on the EWS. That being said, the rest of this might be hypocritical because all the hardcore bikers do it (myself included), but it is technically illegal to bike in most of the Chugach. It is irresponsible for a major bike brand to advertise it and screw the riding with more enforcement for those of us not lucky enough to travel the world to ride.
