Dan and Brett Frew have organized Farm Jam every other year since 2006 on their family farm, making 2020 the 10th edition of the collaborative BMX, MTB and FMX event. Over 100 BMX, mountain bike and freestyle motocross riders from around the globe descended on Otapiri Gorge in Southland, New Zealand last weekend for one of the country's biggest action sports events of the year.

The wind was blowing hard on Sunday, but the jam format held on Friday was calm and off-the-charts rad. Sterling Lorence was there to capture the multi-disciplinary magic for Pinkbike and said it was amazing to see the crossover of BMX and mountain shredding hard together and cheering each other on. Then seeing everyone go to watch the moto events together and vice versa.

There is a 9ish year old girl at my local jump line who, no exaggeration, can do whips on 8 foot table tops. Her bike is a POS with tennis balls stuck in the spokes and all I can think is "I hope you go pro".

Love seeing some blk mrkt bikes still ripping. And, a set of dirt jumps with both Rheeder and Semenuk riding? Not too mention Hucker, RDog and all the other lads....What is this 2012? I wish I was there to witness this.

I replaced my first DJ bike, a P2, with a MOB 12 years ago- Still going strong to this day.

@combee: That's funny, I did the same thing around the same time, but it might have been the p3. Whatever is the heaviest one, that's the one I replaced. Still rocking the MOB too.

Was is a case of not wanting to cut DarkFest's grass, FarmJam didn't make DH bike hits? I've only see Moto or Slope/BMX jumps and no inbetween DH senders....
