a) forgot, sorry!
b) kept the 10,000 cash and had hoped no-one had noticed.
c) forgot and then decided to say that we'd wait until the end of December to start..
d) gave SRAM the hump and they took away the prize.

 well if you think about it photos posted december 31st are should still be eligible to win so it's only fair if they wait until january to start the rounds.

 But then, if you think about how last year's contest was done and dusted before the end of November.....and that the deadline for submissions was Mid-october.... it would seem that consistency is not the word of the week.
