 @scott-townes: no its not

 Hands down #5... What a rad composition. There's even more story to be told, which really draws you into the photo.

 The cyan/green chromatic aberration on the trees is torturing my eyes (it can be removed with one click in Photoshop) but I still think that #5 deserves to win.

 @txmtbr: @txmtbr: yes it is. I know this because photography is subjective.

 I think we're all in agreement with No. 5, until next year when it wins Photo of the Year. Then we will all complain how this one was staged, or somehow it doesn't really capture the essence of riding like the inevitable photo with the big dirt roost, or how the rider or photographer is undeserving, or how none of the good photos made it into the finals... Don't think it will happen? Just wait.

In all seriousness, No. 5 is one of the best, freshest photos on here in a long time. The year is young, but I'm calling it now. Photo of the year. Either that, or it will be the best Photo of the Year group ever.

 I like 5 the most. Looks like a fun little ride. #1 would be second in my opinion

 Exceptionally good pics this month. I do like #1, #5 is the best staircase selfie ever, usually manmade trails don't thrill me but that ones rad!

 #5 should easily win after people find out that he has the remote in his mouth.
  • 4 0
 #5 would be my choice too but keep in mind you don't 'win' photo of the month, it's simply based on number of views.

 Right click, save image as, and directly into the screensaver image folder. glorious.
  • 2 0
 Can someone explain why #5 is a 'selfie' and not just a photo?
  • 2 0
 Because he shot that pic of himself. He's actually riding with the remote in his mouth and snapped the pic as he rode by.
