Welcome to the cloudy Bratislava!
The man himself, Filip Polc checks the last preparations of the course.
The first drop was a little bit trickier than last year, but the riders enjoyed it.
Slick for the win? Which tires are the best for the steep stairways?
Connor Fearon came straight from Leogang WC with second place in his pocket.
The wall of the castle is no joke but the riders hit that easily during the practice.
Bernard Kerr was the first who nailed the start drop.
You had to pedal so hard if you wanted to jump over the first jump on the course.
Not the best day for Tomas Slavic who crashed during qualifying.
David McMillan really liked the course and he nailed all the jumps properly. Third in qualifiers is not a bad result for him.
Last year you had to fly over a car here but this year the gap was empty.
Luckily no one got hurt this year.
The top section of the track ran through the city's castle. 7th place in the qualifiers for Tyler Brooker.
The first big corner was really slippery.
Cuba Wicher just before the drop in.
David McMillan had a great run during qualifiers. He was fast but safe as well.
One more drop shot from the wall.
During the lunch-break we enjoyed Tomas Zejda and friends' freestyle show. 360 double bar and...
....a huge 360 tail whip for the crowd!
The rain then came down.
All of the obstacles were so wet and slippery.
The organizers tried to install some chicken wire onto the kickers.
The competition continued nevertheless. A few mistakes took Filip Polc into 9th place in the qualifying.
David McMillan on the upper section...
...and on the lower section of the track.
Classic black and white photo of Daniel Meilink.
Bernard Kerr hitting the biggest jump was enough for the 4th place in the qualification.
The lower section was really narrow and steep so riders had to slow down.
Looked like Daniel Meilink liked the tight paths.
Last rider on the course in the finals. Bernardo Cruz was so fast on the top section.
He jumped the big one with style...
...but he couldn't finish his run due to the riots.

report.
I think its a bib mousse like you see in moto. These city races have so many square edge hits that i could see some improvising the technology into MTB.
