Awesome trip, what dates did you do this? Judging by the snow it was later in the season but I'm curious how late it's viable to do a trip there

Thanks, we did this early October before Thanksgiving

I'm jealous! It sounds like the kind of trip I would like to do myself. You earned it all, only with what you had and your own power! Well done, I love it! Thanks for sharing

Nice trip and great photos. We did a similar, but shorter 3 day loop in the fall by riding in to Lorna Lake and going out via Manson Creek/Relay Col and Paradise Creek. Lots of hike-a-bike, but the remoteness of this area makes up for it.

Stuff like this makes me miss print media as layouts such as these work better in a magazine (works on a tablet too but just not as good).
Great to see, good read, hoping for more!

High on the list for next summer's adventures!
Is that a HT in the first pic? How was it to ride?
I'm on a Canfield Nimble9...

Yup one of the bikes was a Rocky Mountain Growler. Honestly hardtails like that are a lot better suited to bikepacking than fullys. More frame space and the geo on the Growler makes for a super fun down.

Seems like the photos aren't a very high resolution so the text in the photos is a bit pixelated. Great adventure though!
