 the biggest gag would be not posting any gags

 And write the articles to make PBers really question if it is real or not. Just like the media.

 @tacklingdummy: My derailleur hater blog was the perfect example of that, but came a couple days too early:

 I guess I don’t get why anyone would be butthurt about a thing that happens once a year on a website that no one is forced to look at.

 @DoubleCrownAddict: ...what did I just read

 Ze German Nonsens satire newsmagazine Postillon did just that.
Signal against false reports: The Postillon boycotts April 1
Fürth (dpo) - False reports? Not with us! As in every year since its foundation (1845), the Postillon boycotts the extremely shameful April 1. Germany largest daily and night newspaper of the world sets thereby straight in these heavy times a sign against the silly lies and April fool jokes, which are spread in many less respectable media on this day.

As part of the boycott, no new stories will be published on www.der-postillon.com throughout Thursday, April 1. The print edition of Postillon will also not be delivered to its more than 83 million subscribers in Germany alone.

A Postillon spokesman explained that the paper wanted to send a signal against the institutionalized clamor of April 1: "Those who take people for a ride with targeted false reports are thereby shaking confidence in a critical press," the spokesman said. "But we don't go along with that! Postillon readers don't want tall tales, they want honest, independent and fast news - and have since 1845."

However, there are also unconfirmed rumors that the editor-in-chief is simply using April 1 as an excuse to take a day off.

 This was funnier when PB would put one or two clever articles in the mix. When the entire front page is littered with [April Fools] before every article it loses it's effect.

 Nah, Waki was actually clever, witty, articulate, and (for the most part) well-liked. DCA is what you get when your order Waki on Wish

@mitochris: because that would go so well with principles of journalism. Like mentioning source of information. Typical stupid liberitarian leftists, social justice warriors approach to "freedom of speech" - paranoia caused by treating yourself as woke enlightened, and seeing general population as bunch of idiots who could get corrupted by a right wing propaganda, and could put you and your convenient set of values in question. Fkng bike site, fkg simple string of information and some fkng idiots needed to politicize it. Get fkd. Get fkd, you are as stupid as those two grannies, this is what you will become. Sour old pricks believing in greater order of the universe, seeing world as place invaded by awful people stopping you from reaching your Elysium. GET FKD.

 @DoubleCrownAddict: Have you considered starting a forum thread about his posts?

 @DoubleCrownAddict:

You lost any validation when you called him a retard. Not cool, man. Plus cherry picking 3 quotes...you’re grasping at straws here.

 @DoubleCrownAddict: you're a cynical full-retard

 My favourite one was the April Fools joke that tried to tell us that carbon bikes and components was stronger than metal ones. Then I realized it wasn't an April fools joke, we have actually been fed that bollox for decades!
