The contest was Friday, and the winners are announced today. We sifted though the pumpkin seeds and gooey mush to bring you the winners of the first ever Pinkbike.com Pumpkin Carving contest.
Here are the winners of the Pinkbike Halloween Pumpkin contest. It was a short, but sweet contest, designed to showcase what people were deciding to put on their porches this year. We sorted through the entries, and have come up with the 3 winners. These winners were judged on how unique it was, how legible it was, and how it was presented.
The first winner is the classical Pinkbike.com logo. We have never seen someone carve a pumpkin like this, so it's no surprise that
volcomsotne's pumpkin is a winner.
The next winner was the Indian Air Seatgrab pumpkin made by
mmmmmm. Out of all the pumpkins that tried to incorporate a rider doing a trick we felt this one was the best. It's clear that the rider is doing a dirt jump, and a cool trick, hence why we chose it too.
For the final choice we tried to choose a pumpkin that combined our sport with the season at hand. That is where
slofr66's pumpkin came into play. It was a combination of raw Halloween style, that incorporated a flavor of our sport.
Congrats to all the winners of the
2008 Pinkbike Pumpkin Carving Contest. You will be receiving a PM message about your winnings.
Also, thanks to everyone who entered the contest. We couldn't have done it without you guys, so thanks for supporting the site.
