The Europeans have taken a lot of flak in the past about their style within the mountain bike industry, especially from the Brits, even though we are part of Europe and come with plenty of our own designer downfalls.
In the past, the common notion was that most of the perceived cool
products came from the USA: Intense Bicycles, Santa Cruz, Troy Lee, Fox Clothing and a bunch of other cool kids led out by Palmer. The Euros had to take years of lycra related abuse on the chin, especially when donned under huge Dainese body armour. There are still plenty of brands that continue to implement the ugly stick in their design studios, on both sides of the ocean. The MET Parachute

carbon won the hearts of many at its inception and I think the Mondraker Foxy was the best looking bike at Eurobike this year. Troy Lee have been styling things up stateside forever, but over in Europe POC, ION and iXS have been fixing up and looking smart over the last few years.
