Brendog's vintage Land Rover inspired Gambler, but it's not an option
  • 45 1
 Now it is...
  • 2 1
@mikekazimer: too late, already voted Frown
luckily there‘s enough bikeporn left Smile
  • 2 2
best colour by far, apart from the tomb raider ltd edition grey my landy 130 has Wink
  • 8 0
 That's not a vintage Landrover.
  • 1 0
@Gavalar66: lol is that even an original color?
  • 2 0
Like it too. But it’s much better next to the truck.
  • 1 0
 @mikekazimer: legend. thanks brotha
  • 20 0
Us kiwis are just suckers for Kiwiana... both Matty & Ed's bikes are LIT! But the pounamu green is just stunning!!
  • 2 0
Every year, every bike with that silver fern motif just KILLS. Love the subtle tribal pattern.
  • 1 0
I’m English but I love it!!! And black is always bad ass!
  • 1 0
Agreed bro! However, Brendogs Gambler is so sick! Second to Matt Walkers Phoenix!
  • 20 2
As a kiwi ed’s bike is wicked. I’d love a ride with that paint job
  • 1 2
Ed is injured M8 - is it Wyn's?
  • 1 0
 Nope it’s Ed’s
  • 3 0
 @rrsport: poor riderless Worlds bike.
  • 11 0
Holy guacamole we live in an age of sick looking downhill bikes!
  • 1 0
Holy Guacamole is a good trail
  • 5 2
Too many of this year's bikes with too many colours all over. It's like design adhd.
  • 12 1
 where‘s brendog‘s land rover hommage?
#brendoggotrobbed Big Grin
  • 2 0
 Robbed again.........
  • 7 0
It seems that this year there are far less "patriotic" bikes and more unique custom paint jobs. That's not a complaint just an observation.
  • 9 0
Really need closer pictures of the mondrakers. The comic inlay is rad
  • 3 1
Feel it's s bit unfair as Brendogs picture makes it also look by far the coolest Smile

Those Commencals graphics are ugly. They remind me of a Scott from about 10 years ago. Voltage or something.
Shame as they do some nice stuff normally.

Having seen most of them up close this weekend, the details of Walker's Phoenix was a work of art compared to the others, minus maybe Wyns GT. Glad they pulled the neon wheels and blue hubs of for the photo.
  • 1 0
While there are some other nice paint jobs, I agree, walkers paint job is on another level.
  • 3 0
A lot of them look really good. The Intense, Santa Cruz, Hart's Mondraker but I went with Vali Holl's YT due to how prominent her name is.
  • 4 1
Some downhill bikes, while efficient im sure, are not pretty machines. No amount of paint is going to hide some of those lines.
  • 2 0
Love the marbling of some of these but Fearon and Frew’s old skool Kona’s bring back a lot of great memories!
#stabsupreme
  • 4 0
 Brendogs bike is slick AF.!!!
  • 2 0
Oh love this vote shows us mtn bikers aren’t the neon multi patten coloured marble sausage fest we are ‘painted’ out to be
  • 3 0
There wasn’t enough bikes - please add 45 more
  • 1 0
The other PB article mentioned Gwin was on a Intense M279, this one says it is a M729. Which one has the typo? Or does it just not have a name yet and is it a modified M29?
  • 1 0
It is the M279, a mullet bike.
  • 4 0
 Really like Troy's
  • 3 0
The details in the paint (Stevie Smith) are awesome, impossible to see in this pic though
  • 1 0
Just as an idea... Camille Balanche's Devinci Wilson. A privateer with custom fork an shock liveries and custom seat. something small doing the trick for worlds...
  • 3 0
I just don't care anymore... Today I vote for BROOK!
  • 2 0
Interesting that the KONA,s seem to look small. When compared to the other bikes , those 2 bikes have such short reach.
  • 2 0
I like Gwin's the best. Still give a good metallic red to black with Slayer heavy metal graphics and it's a win win.
  • 2 0
 Loving Ed's paint job ????
  • 1 0
I want that instagram pic from brendog in Hi-Res as my new desktop background, it's stunning
  • 3 4
Completely pointless poll. There are far too many to choose from and other than the yellow Ohlin’s forked bikes everyone of them is awesome, so just pick the last one we come to, boom, Brendon is the winner.
  • 1 0
Oh man... HOLL, Lucas, Frew, Norton, Brannigan, Wallace, Walker (nzl) ... maybe payet bruni ... TOO MANY! Drool
  • 3 1
None the above Vali Holls bike scheme smokes everything.
  • 1 0
All these bikes look awesome but theirs something about that Kona that just catches my eye.
  • 6 0
It's the awful rocker link. It's like a train wreck! Can't look away...
  • 2 0
@gnarnaimo: ???? someone had to say it...
  • 1 0
Reminds me of my buddies 55 lb Coiled Dookie Supreme Kona from back in the day. We called it the Dump Truck.
  • 2 4
Society has a terrible eye for art. The best artistically painted bikes; (Kerr's- Phoenix, Iles'- Demo, Holl's- Tues, Wallace/Brosnan- Senders, Macdonald's- Summum, etc.,etc...

Granted, most of us would not want flashy bikes for ourselves; rather, opting for a simple paint job typically. The bike that is getting highest votes is the most bland paint one could possibly imagine.

This same idea of art is within the snowboard industry; rendering hideous Goth like pictures and stick figure drawings that are so adolescent and and out of touch with true beauty in real art work.

I bet you don't appreciate graffiti done with fire extinguishers, then.

"Art is a racket" - my dad - lifelong fine artist.
  • 2 0
People trolling with brandon vote or what
  • 2 0
How can the least creative paintjob win this poll.
  • 2 0
Fearon's paint job matches the look of his bike.... Old..
  • 1 0
Brrap Brrap Pew Pew shots fired...
  • 2 0
 lol, the boring one won.
  • 1 0
Wheres the all of the above option at?
  • 1 0
Currently OTHER is sitting at 69! Ohhhh yeeeahh nooooice!
  • 1 0
Can I vote after the finals , they are all the same.
  • 1 0
 Gwins m29 he's not riding....
  • 1 1
Aaron Gwin's for me. Saw the Norco Aurum in person, and it looked amazing, but just can't get behind the design personally.
  • 2 1
None of the above. Marine Cabirou's Scott Gambler is my choice.
  • 1 0
Brendog's bike for the win ????????????
  • 1 0
Marine looks so composed bombing down tracks on the new Scott.
  • 1 0
Did anyone get anything of Bernard's finished Phoenix?
  • 1 0
Brendog forgot to take the black Sharpee to the Rover's BFG AT's.
  • 1 0
Wyn, if only you had put effort into your fork decals.
  • 1 2
Yay great job everyone picking the plainest bike... Vali holl's paint is clearly the best, and I don't like YT bikes at all....
  • 1 0
To each their own, I think Vali's is the worst.
  • 1 1
 Are there 2 Matt Walker??
  • 1 1
Yes. From opposite ends of the Commonwealth. Brit Matt Walker rides for saracen. NZ Matt Walker rides for pivot.
  • 1 0
 @themop: thank you
  • 1 1
