PRESS RELEASE: Pivot Cycles

Our headquarters in Tempe was recently home to a gathering of Pivot racers, riders and ambassadors who joined Pivot’s staff to collaborate, give back to the community and, no surprise, ride some great trails. It’s all here in the video (courtesy of Antoine Caron’s handiwork).

Pivot ultra-endurance racers, Taylor Lideen and Kaitlyn Boyle both just won and set new course records at the 2018 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo, with Taylor notching 20 laps and almost 340 miles in the Male Solo category and Kaitlyn racking up 18 laps and about 300 miles in the Female Solo Category. You will definitely be seeing more of these names throughout 2018.

Pivot Factory Racing is back, coming out full throttle. Eddie Masters snagged his first podium of the season earning himself the New Zealand National Downhill Championship. Bernard Kerr, Emilie Siegenthaler, and Rupert Chapman are also poised to return to podiums all over the world.

Likewise, the Stans-Pivot Pro Team p/b Maxxis will continue to tear up the cross-country circuit. Chloe Woodruff & Keegan Swenson are focusing on international races, with a full World Cup season ahead of them. Rose Grant, our four-time US marathon National Champ is looking to add “five-time national champ” to her resume. Sofia Gomez-Villafane, who is coming off of a breakout cyclo-cross season is also looking to make a name for herself in the XC side of things. Both Rose and Sofia will focus on Pro XCT and the Epic Rides Off-Road Series for 2018.

Pivot Cycles lineup for 2018

The always incredible Aaron Chase will continue to travel to unreal places and do absolutely unreal things aboard his bike—look for more of his amazing edits this year. Antoine Caron’s focus is on Enduro racing and, a man of many talents, filmmaking. Antoine will be stepping into the world of EWS this season. Brice Shirbach will also be roving the world, in search of the next great story and video—you can expect to see plenty of Brice’s work in the media.

More on the team here.

Very cool video. Captures the great community feel that you get in AZ. Rage Cycles is OG.

Cannot believe Rage is still around. I used to go to the one on baseline in early 90's, they were small but had the coolest stuff, I have a vague recollection of just a solo guy short, long hair who opened it up. I think he had Klien, rock lobster, mtn. goat whiskeytown, breezer, moots, fat chance, wtb maybe, seems like i wanted wtb frame back then..maybe some of those were at cosmic..Rage and Cosmic in Flag were my favorite shops....hope things are rolling along for them still.
