In downhill mountain bike racing, the only certainty is that nothing is certain until the last rider’s run. With the 2017 season kicking off in Lourdes, France, expectations are running high. But in DH mountain biking, the only certainty is that anything can happen. For Loic Bruni and the rest of the sport’s elite, this means taking nothing for granted.
To infer that Alexandre Fayolle is a "pretender" is not at all fair. Anyone who makes the show in a WC DH is certainly not that. The real pretenders are all us keyboard heroes on PB.
These videos are so good for the sport. They seem to bring in a prospective that is relatable for people who are not super in tune with the sport. They have enough amazing shots in them to appease those that are more accustomed to the sport.
Personally though, too much hate on the wheel sizes. Whatever is fastest should be used at the top level of our sport.
