Innes Graham was one of the fastest young mountain bike racers on the downhill circuit, who left the scene after suffering a horrible crash at the Lenzerheide World Cup in 2016. Leaving behind the buzz and adrenalin of racing left Innes with a gap in his life, which he found hard to fill. This lead to struggles with his mental health. We sat down to find out about his rise through the sport, the impact that crash had on his life and how he’s rebuilt himself by reconnecting with mountain biking. Albeit, in a slightly different guise. I’d like to thank Innes for being open and honest about how leaving racing impacted him. This is an area that we don’t hear much about, but which is a big issue across many competitive sports. So sit back, hit play and listen to this episode with Innes Graham.
