Unreal that when he's working that hard, he's still got the presence of mind to wipe the camera.
Thanks for all the great POV stuff you put out Jesse and congratulations on the win.
I mean that was so considerate of him to look after his fan's enjoyment by keeping the lens clean while putting down some blistering runs. Great job Jesse and thanks for the content.
Nice-guy-Canadian miraculously remembers to wipe the camera lens... Incredible riding and enduring strength!
As a lay-man, I have a hard time telling the difference between Enduro and DH at this point... other than fork crowns. That track looked rougher than some of the WC DH tracks.. or am I just crackers?
Never take a phone call with one of Jesse's onboard vids playing in the background... just rhythmic heavy breathing and squelching noises mixed in with a few whistles and some yelling.
Unreal isn't it. It's insanely hard to keep it up for a even a minute in these conditions and I can't ride anywhere near the pace that these guys manage.
What a guy! Looks like he's going absolute warp speed in some of those gnarly sections - probably faster than most would dare in dry conditions. And oh boy that rock-drop line choice in the middle of the second stage! What an intense run
I started that thinking “18 minutes? Who’s gonna watch 18 minutes of GoPro race footage??” Amazing riding Jesse! Now rehydrate with a nice glass of trailbuilder tears.
@mbosko7: I wear a HR strap all of the time so I know what my HR is. For racing I'm not thinking about what my max HR is for efficiency, I just go at a pace that I can hold and then afterwards I can see where my HR was at.
Very nice! Congrats!
The guy is really fit! Seriously, the part that blew my mind the most was the uphill asphalt sprint. Judging by his breath just before that part, it must have been Very painful to add such an effort when you already very deep in the red. Wow!
Amazing control, that section on stage one that was apparently straight down was insane. So many places you could have been tripped up, crazy fast riding.

Crazy. How did he control his front brake after that? Or does he ride Moto?
What do you think, did Crankworks help?
They say enduro stages are so long you can't go 100% the whole time but wow, by the sound of his breathing he was going all out for 7mins straight.
