@aug7hallak:SOUTH AFRICA is so beautiful, I wish I could go there

It's a low down dirty shame that none of these riders is really CORE enough for FREERIDE. They should all give up and get downcountry bikes. Nice work lads! That double stepdown into the moon booter at the end is art in motion!

 More Dark Fest content please!
  • 35 3
The people are speaking, are you listening Fest Series?
  • 10 2
The stoke of everyone who rides or just watches this event (so roughly the whole world) is clearly against the foundamental values of fest series!
  • 2 0
 I guess they just don't give a single f*ck.
Which is great, IMHO.
  • 1 0
No they’re not listening mate, that’s the problem I think!!

So stoked to see Sergio Layos out there. One of the smoothest dudes to ever touch a bmx.

 Sergioooooo!!!

 THIS

Its incredible that the fest series think this great quality media content somehow takes away from the spirit of freeride. This literally is what freeride is and how it keeps alive. This is awesome.

Great footage. But I really miss that whole Aggy turning up and not doing any of the jumps thing... #core
  • 2 1
He's so freeride he liked to bring a little bike to the gun fight

I'm gonna miss Mick Hannah turning up to the world Cups and never getting any results.
  • 10 2
@holdandhope: You've only got to go back to 2017 and Mick got 2nd at a Cairs world cup... way to be a douche

@Joebohobo: Hahaha, Shut up Joe you dry guy.
  • 9 2
@holdandhope: Lol. At least Mick rides the WC track. Aggy and bunch of those other #core guys just turn up for the Fest(tm) mandatory "fireside holding a beer" shot.
  • 8 2
@holdandhope: Ahaha would prefer to be considered dry than to be a dick. Dudes competing and giving their all to a race career to just have guys shitting on them online

@Joebohobo: Well you are considered a dick, thats what a dry guy is, but then people who race generally are. These guys are shitting on Aggy who has gave his all to a freeride career, exactly these same thing, but you didn't speak up about that did you ? Plus I'm sure Aggy does way more for his local MTB community than Mick.

@holdandhope: Hahaha have a nice day mate x

Looks like Bob Ross painted those happy little Freeriders in the landscape.

These shots would make good POD's except that no longer seems to be a thing. Yesterdays pod of the first pinkbike photo looks to have been a sign of the end.
  • 5 1
It is really a shame that none of these riders represent the excellence and art of Free Ride.
  • 6 0
 The cheering at the end
  • 5 0
 that's kurwa sick
  • 4 0
 Too much media exposure. Sacrilege.
  • 3 0
This is gonna be sooooo good!
  • 3 0
Looks incredible! Wish I could have a go!
  • 3 0
Awesome, I kept bracing before every impact
  • 5 3
It's literally stipulated that a monster energy logo must be in 90 percent of the shots released
  • 4 7
an then people moan an wonder why the originators of Fest got pissed !
  • 17 1
Who cares?? There's no free lunch.
  • 3 1
So how's that any different than Loosefest?
  • 7 1
Fair enough if you ask me. All I ask the people moaning about this is why does it matter? Without Sponsors events like this don't happen. Redbull Rampage, Audi Nines, Mercedes-Benz World Cups etc etc. And practically all the riders are sponsored by both bike and energy drink/clothing companies etc, including the Fest riders. Maybe strip the moaners of their sponsors, make them buy there own bikes and pay for travel etc, then see who's moaning.
  • 1 3
@Freakyjon: I don't think you're quite right in saying things like this don't happen without sponsors, sure riders get bikes an gear an some are lucky enough to bigoney energy drink cash but, freeride still happens without it. Unponsored riders still hit up these events an rip. Sure the €$£ make organising something as big an glamorous as Dark Fest but can't forget that the original Fest series was started without it, to get away from big corporate €£$ an the controller that comes with it

 @chriskneeland:

I have it on good authority that Nico got burned pretty bad by monster in their dealings around loosefest
  • 3 0
@skimtb1: Then just start working with other sponsors. What world do you live in where these courses and events are built and hosted for free?
  • 3 0
This beautiful place is where I live. ☺
  • 1 0
Lucky man. Is it possible for you to go there as
a spectator? That'd be awesome. Very jealous.

Balls of ceramic!!! Holy… love this
  • 1 0
This is insane! Great! They must have more adrenaline than blood in their cores lol
  • 1 0
Correct me if I'm wrong. But Isted, showing up and blowing up. No frame sponsor. Such a sellout.

SICK!! Loved FEST. **** the drama. Dudes stoked on riding big lines is what the people want!
