Preview: 4X Pro Tour Round 2 Germany

Round 2 of the 2014 4X ProTour will take place in Winterberg, Germany this weekend. Held as part of the Dirt masters Festival, this event attracts thousands of fans who flock to Winterberg to watch not just the 4X ProTour, but also IXS Downhill series and the impressive Bergline Freeride World Tour event.

The race always attracts over 200 riders from all around the world which makes this race a tough event for all the riders. The track is situated at the heart of the bikepark and is fast and has a really good flow. It is a great race track and always produces lots of passing and unexpected results.


After round 1, Tomas Slavik stamped his authority in the men’s race and took maximum points ahead of Michal Prokop and Hannes Slavik. With the top 3 riders from round 1 all heading to Winterberg this weekend, mixed in with the local German riders you can expect plenty of fireworks on the track.


In the women’s Dana Elena Schweika took the win at round 1 and will be looking to continue that winning form in front of her home German crowd in Winterberg. Natalia Piwowarczyk from Poland will be looking to challenge as will Katharina Brauer along with Tanya Hendrysiak and Julia Lackas.

Registration
As with all 4X ProTour races, riders simply need a license to enter the events. We welcome new riders and look forward to seeing plenty of them in Winterberg this weekend. There is no pre registration for this event so riders need to head to the organisers office when they arrive to register.

Every rider will register at the organization office. For registration please bring your license. Starters under age of 18 require signed consent by their Parent, or other legal guardian. Late registration is possible locally to 11 am on Saturday 31th May 2014. Every rider gets a new number plate at the race. Number plates have to be fixed in front of the handlebar and should readable throughout the race.

Class: Hobby Men/Women (year of birth 1997 and older) , License Men/Women (year of birth 1997 and older)
Fee: 30,00 €
