It's the end of the race season and sadly it's set upon us way too quickly! What a season it's been, we've had some amazing things happen and some truly sad things and we all know what they are! The guys and girls over at Rogate Downhill put on this kind of end of season race so to speak, for world cup racers, local boys, national racers, BMX racers to humans from a far, little old Rogate has them all. It's always awesome to see the little shredders and girls/ladies racing and taking on mother nature and the clock.
The hill saw lots of spectators and family all there to watch and support their little racers, the vibe was awesome! Lots of people with things to make as much noise as possible, the classic handle bar/rim combo, that familiar sounding world cup horn and cow bells, so rad to see and hear! Practice was over pretty fast and there was a fair amount of OTB's going on, deep sandy corners were catching out even the battle hardened of racers, a little tricky in places so to speak!
