After a 10 hour voyage down to Shropshire from Inverness, the Kerr brothers arrived in Hopton, with their father Greg Kerr who was also racing in the grand vets category.
The short two and a half minute track was greasy and pretty flat. The Kerr boys headed up for Saturday practice in what was a mixed bag of conditions with rain falling intermittently through the day. Despite the boys initial impressions of the track, they found it pretty good fun to ride with many fun off camber sections which made up for the duller flat sections of track. After a successful days practice, they headed back to the pits and let loose in Kontiki Films motor at the field.
Moving into race day the sun was shining, though the track remained slippery. Making a small mistake half way down George struggled to clip back in losing some time. Henry came in with a solid run placing 6th and clinching 3rd in the overall series! A good weekend and a great last round to say farewell to the BDS.
Propain Dirt Zelvy would like to thank Si Paton and the rest of the BDS crew for all their hard work over the years.
It would be a shame for Trek to ditch muddy after only 1 season, he's shown in the past he's got more to give than he managed this year.
Personally, I would love to see Hart and Greenland stay together... and join up with Moir on Intense.
