 Totally agree with this statement. Fabio has been wild. I found this segment looked weird ridden on a downhill bike. Just looked like a lot of inefficient pedaling.

 Yeah it was lacking in radness but it was still good to watch. Unique in its on way. Just like not every video of a person riding down cliffs needs to be on the same level of the red bull rampage.

 Finn is a young kid and quite possibly on of the best cyclists in the world . Finn has no reason to be putting his health at risk to outdo Fabio... Finn can go faster,further and with absolute much more intetensity than Fabio will ever.
It's a sick edit and we have no need to be comparing/contrasting when we all know what Finn is all about about the same with Fabio

This was honestly a pretty boring edit-many amatuers could have attempted the features in the edit, and if a comparitively unknown rider made something like this, Pinkbike would say it sucks. So why have double standards?

 @MJ4LIFERIDER: If you have ever watched bmx films you would find this extremely unimpressive, especially with the size of the gaps they hit without using a $10K dh bike - watch Trey Jones, Van Homan, Tom Dugan, Steven Hamilton, Garrett Byrnes, Chad Osborn, Colt Fake - all are good street riders. Your average street BMX rider can easily match or exceed the level of riding in this edit.

 For the record, Finn has skills to pay the bills. Stoked to root for him next season in the elites. However, for a red bull produced clip, this was the least exciting urban segment I've seen. Production and concept were top notch. Moat gap at the end was dope.

 It was like a bmx or trials edit but instead of mind-blowing tricks, they used shots of sprinting down the street in full moto kit and riding down stairs. Finn's amazing and Quebec is beautiful, but downhill bikes look better on dirt.

 The feeling ain't so bad as the Bruins best player is a Quebec local

 That was a very happy time in my life.

 @t1000: It's funny when the Bruins usually do not hire local Massachusetts/New England talent but most of the squad consists of Quebec guys. While Montreal's team a lot of years consists of a lot of American players.

 For riding it's good, food, women, etc. Otherwise it's not the greatest to live. IE, they don't let dogs into their parks (it's a province full of whiny old people ruining it for everyone else), and that in itself is a deal breaker for me. Spent a LOT of time in QC. Love it, but it's got it's limits in terms of life. Eveything is backwards, it's like they say "they do advance green early in Ontario, well we will do the opposite!" (anyone who knows, knows).

@TheR: It's funny you say that. See I was born and raised in Quebec. I lived in the west for quite some time, loved it. I did realize one thing while I was there: Canada is the only place in the world where it's not cool to speak French. Great majority of people who don't like Quebec are Canadians. Let's face it : the language is still a big issue even tho most people here speak both french and english.

 @sickn3ss: I looked it up after getting kicked out of a provincial park (bruno) last Saturday. Apparently only 3 large parks have a pilot project as of this year, and some municipalities have some parks dogs allowed. I was pretty surprised and bummed out about it. I love a lot of Quebec, its culture, the environment etc but there are certainly some pretty weird things about it. And Montreal roads make no sense, even in the newer areas. Haha.

 @atrokz: I don't hate the dogs, i hate the owners who don't pick up turds. It only takes a couple and the argument for banning dogs is made. They are the daesh to your islam. Who's gonna deal with it?

 @sickn3ss: I've been to Montreal. I thought it was a beautiful city, and had no problem with the people.

I've also been to Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria. All beautiful places, but regarding that legendary Canadian "niceness" -- I thought a lot of people were rather passive-aggressive, especially in Vancouver and Whistler.

I've also seen the hostility to the French language. I work in media, and I was at an athletic event in Victoria, and a French-speaking reporter from a French-Canadian news outlet asked one of the English-speaking Canadian athletes if he spoke French, and he was just dripping with attitude when he said no. So the resentment is real. I've seen it first hand.

One caveat I need to add to the passive-aggressive attitude I found in Vancouver -- it seems to come primarily from the dudes. Some of the most beautiful women without attitudes I've met seem to come from Canada. If any of those ladies had grown up in LA, Chicago or New York, they'd think they were Oprah.

 @BenPea: there are laws here for picking up, it's not a problem in the rest of Canada, it was a ban because they 'thought' it would be a problem, now they are slowly allowing them apparently. It's a non issue, rowdy teens and graffiti are actual issues there, not dogs. Keep in mind you're French, different world here.

 @atrokz: You're probably right about that. The French have a very liberal attitude to bodily excretia, whatever beast produces it. There are laws here, but there's also very little policing or f*cks given. I get my kids to play in doggy pooping areas as it's the least likely place to contain dog shit.
