As soon as the wind died down this morning, Qualifiers were on and the riders who weren't pre-qualified threw down in an effort to make it to the final round. We witnessed some stellar runs, some disappointments, and what felt like a lot of injuries. Aggy repeated history by winning qualies again this year - everyone is stoked out of their minds to watch him and all twenty three of his competitors showcase their lines tomorrow morning for the Finals.

Its funny how they don't update you on the most popular riders dropping out from finals, like they want to trick you into tuning into the live stream tomorrow just so their ratings down plunge at all. I know most people would watch regardless, but it just kind of irritates me when they keep this stuff almost secret.

I just realized that RedBull should have a Legends-class next year. I dont care if they have to roll down people in wheelchairs, a class with Bourdo, Gracia, Steve Peat(?), Bender among others would be RAD. I dont care if they throw a backflip down a cliff or goes f*ck on locked brake from the start-gate, i just wanna see those dude´s go down the hills. Who's with me?!
  • 6 2
I'm with you. I can think of lots of the OGs I would like to see in that class.

logan binggeli qualified 4th and nobody talk about him!?

Haha, @eball said it best. We all love Aggy and his style, but he's getting easily more coverage than anybody. I thought the same as you when I saw Binggeli's name on the list and no mention of him elsewhere. Come on PB, let's try to keep it reasonably unbiased.

  • 8 0
I would very much like to see a sort of map of the riders' lines to fully understand the scale of the event, the challenges of broadcasting and the extent to which the lines are unique / co-run.

Bummer, there is no shots of Bingelli, his 4th means he must have had some gnar?

Also, does Bourdon compete or not? He is in no list on the results page.
  • 5 0
They should give everyone extra build time and only have a finals day, no qualifying. Everyone builds such gnar that it should just be a two run show for everyone. I think an invite is enough to qualify.
  • 4 0
How the hell is it that NO ONE is talking about TMAC not riding tomorrow. I'm so damned pissed right now. With the line he had he was a lock for a podium this year. Damn it I'm pissed. Feel super bad for the dude. Least he's alright. Now it's time for Howard. Come on dude. Take it to the top!
  • 3 0
This happens every year it seems. Guys with awesome line you can wait to see crash out in practice of qualifying and we dont get to see them ride. This year its T-Mac, Doerfling, Vink etc. They all had lines I was really looking forward to watching. Almost makes me think they should scrap qualifying and just go with one big final. Making these guys essentially stop their runs twice kind of sucks when you are talking about shit this gnarly.
  • 4 0
the scariest thing ive seen this rampage is T-mac's sniper landing on el presidente

isn't Zink doing the same drop he 360d last year?
  • 3 0
Last year I thought Fairclough's line deseved at least a top 3... If he rides it clean again and add a flip to it, they better give him a nice spot on the podium or all this "rampage robbed" thing will be confirmed to me!
