 Is that Vlad from academy? If it is i did not give that guy enough credit.

 It is vlad from PB academy. Rode with him at an enduro.. guy is a beast on a bike. PB academy didn’t show off how fast he is.

 Been following him on Instagram since the show and he's got a ton of riding and training in since then and seems to be doing quite well!

 I've ridden with Vlad years ago, and he is the fastest guy I have every personally rode bikes with. I've always said that he never got to show off his true speed on the PB academy. Cool to see him be in the mix with some of the fastest guys in the world. The guy is a machine on a DH course, and very humble and down to earth despite his big sexy muscles

 I can't believe that rude is 22s behind the pace. He's a monster on a bike and I thought he had legit WC pace on an enduro bike. Does anyone know why he's so far behind?
  • 12 4
 He's probably not on a downhill bike since Yeti doesn't make one. Windrock looks pretty gnarly, so that's likely a significant disadvantage on a course like this.

 Rude is on a SB165 with dual crown fork. But with 165mm travel it´s not that capable

 Legit course, also could have had an off?

 @Breeconay Don’t pay too much attention to overall seed. He qualified less than a second behind Neko. It started raining in qualifying.

 @borisimobike: I'm looking forward to if they stream the race. Rude is a straight up charging bull on a bike.

 @Marquess: A SB165 was on the podium at a PRO-GRT last year!

 DH racing is no joke and a more mental discipline.

Different training/focus. Simple.

 @leviatanouroboro: He was junior dh American champion and went the enduro route instead. I think he has plenty of mental focus, training and ability to compete at the pro dh level.
  • 9 1
 @phclaw: Rude was also the junior dh WORLD champion.
  • 3 2
 @Marquess: that bike would not hold back a rider with his skill level
