I can't help but wonder if some intern saw that clip when putting together a factoid sheet for all the riders.

If you watched a clip from 2015 to the present you'd be hard pushed to name the year. It's stagnated. I haven't watched it for years and I love mountain biking. I've just got better things to do.
I personally think they should totally flip the format. I'm not saying it's not good and it's not impressive but I am saying it got stale as a formula years ago.
4x is really good but no one cares about that either.
I wish they would sack the formula and do something out of left field like long jumps off a cliff into the sea or something. Or just have a 3-4 year hiatus and then come back when everyone's appetite has been built up a bit.
Perhaps rampage is a victim of its own success. I also never watch Semenuk videos more than ten seconds and hes just incredible. Incredibly talented, incredibly smooth and incredibly uninspiring for me. Don't shoot me. I can't explain it but he totally fails to catch my attention. Almost too good, like watching a computer game.
