If we‘re really nerding out, the first picture in the Pietra Ligure section is Forte San Giovanni, which is located in Finalborgo and therefore technically Finale Ligure.

I knew from the cover photo alone the location of that particular venue, because I live there, and was there, for that race. Brown pow floating through the air all weekend long. I swear you could see the dust cloud rising off of the mountain from across town all weekend long.

Little tip : you can guess without looking at the pictures, it's all the different race locations from the last three years in anti-chronological order. C'mon Pinkbike, you could have mixed it up a little...

The fort in the second pic is also in Finale, not Pietra! Mind the two towns are on opposite sides of the same hill.
